Another great rider insight from the team at inCycle. The 23 year old BMC rider Taylor Phinney talks about his racing career to date and plans for this year’s Tour de France.
Taylor Phinney talks about his TT win and overall win in this years Dubai Tour, winning two Under 23 Paris-Roubaix’s and trying to emulate the feats of his hero, Fabian Cancellara. Phinney also talks about his epic ride on stage 6 of the 2013 Tirreno-Adriatico where he rode solo for 120km to make the time cut so he could race the time trial the next day.
After all my grupetto mates threw in the towel w/130km to go I continued on alone in the rain attempting to make time cut. No results yet…

Taylor Phinney also talks about how he has set his sights on winning the penultimate stage of this years Tour de France, the 54km individual time trial between Bergerac – Périgueux, one of the motivations is to replicate the feats of his father Davis Phinney who won two Tour de France stages when he rode for the 7-Eleven team.
