Greg Lemond won the Tour de France three times, the world road race title twice, junior world titles, a number of stage races and one day races. Greg’s career was unfortunately interrupted by a serious hunting accident the year after his first Tour de France win but came back in 1989 to win one of the most exciting and the closest Tour de France finishes against Laurent Fignon. Greg Lemond remains the only American Tour de France Winner.
