SRAM Electronic Groupset revealed at Amgen Tour of California

SRAM has unveiled prototype versions of it’s electronic groupset at this weeks Amgen Tour of California. First spotted at a US regional cyclocross championship last December it’s now making a much more public appearance on the Bissell Pro Cycling Teams Treks.

Rumored to be wireless these pictures clearly show wires to the front and rear derailleurs, but as Logan Vanbokel (Velonews) explains, they could be just there for show. The shift levers are rumored to have only one button per lever, one side for rear up shifts and one for rear down shifts. Both buttons pressed together for the front shifting up or down.
