The classic jersey was Rapha’s first-ever jersey back in 2004, originally called the Sportwool™ Jersey it has been instrumental in the growth of the brand since then being one of the most popular items in the Rapha range. Now 12 years later the jersey has been revamped as the Rapha Classic Jersey II.
The Rapha Classic Jersey II has been updated for 2016 incorporating a new proprietary merino-wool-based fabric, milled to Rapha’s exact specification. Called RPM150 (Rapha Performance Merino, the 150 indicates grams per square metre), it is lighter, softer and more breathable than generic Merino blends, adaptable to a huge range of conditions, especially when worn over a Merino t-shirt base layer.
The construction of the jersey has also been improved and is lighter in fact there are 12 changes in all to the jersey.

The men’s jersey is available in four colours, the traditional black with white armband, purple, grey and navy in sizes xs through to xxl and as previously the classic jersey is sold with the Rapha Classics Guarantee, basically if you aren’t satisfied within 30 days you can return.

The women’s classic jersey is available in two colours, black with a white armband and navy with a pink armband and in a range of sizes xs through to xl. The women’s Classic Jersey II is also listed at A$195.
Rapha Special Edition Classic Jersey II
The Rapha range wouldn’t be complete without a special edition jersey. This one is a stealth classic jersey in all black with embroidered graphics on the back panel.
